Q: I work in a small district and don’t have enough teachers to hold a workshop on my own, can I send teachers to another district’s workshop?

Yes, you can send teachers to any of our workshops. Open workshops are listed on our website.

Q: I want to hold a workshop in my district, how do I do this?

There are two ways that a district can hold a workshop, either as a private workshop or by hosting the workshop and inviting other district teachers.

There is a set fee for holding a full day workshop for a single district. The fees would be negotiated based on the location, the length of the workshop, and the number of attendees.

Host a workshop that outside (of the district) teachers may attend. The hosting district may send ten teachers at no registration cost. If additional district teachers and/or administrators wish to attend, each additional teacher would pay the standard fee for that workshop. GEC will advertise the workshop out to neighboring schools and districts. The minimum number of required paid attendees varies depending on the workshop and presenter.

Q: Will you present at a parent meetings or Governing School Board meetings?

Yes, we frequently present at these meetings.

Q: GEC is not on the district’s vendor list, who do I contact regarding paperwork to get on this list?

Please call 480-650-1604 to request the necessary paperwork for your purchasing department.
