KIMBERLY LANSDOWNE, Ph.D.
Dr. Kim Lansdowne is the Executive Director of the Gary K. Herberger Young Scholars Academy, a school for highly gifted middle and high school students at Mary Lou Fulton's Teacher's College at Arizona State University.
For the last ten years, Kim has served as the Director of Gifted Education for Scottsdale Unified School District, and before that in Denver.
Dr. Lansdowne has nearly thirty years working in the field of gifted education as a classroom teacher, gifted teacher, gifted program director, and university professor. She received a Master's degree in Gifted Education from the University of South Florida and a Ph.D. from Arizona State University. Having served as a board member of AZ, CA, TX state associations and on national gifted boards, Kim is currently an active member of the NAGC Diversity & Equity Committee. Dr. Lansdowne consults with school districts,developing and supporting gifted education programs throughout the country.
