Karen Brown is the Gifted Program Mentor for Paradise Valley Unified School District. She has taught and facilitated gifted education courses at ASU since 2010.

Additionally, Mrs. Brown consults with districts throughout the country on Curriculum Mapping, Common Core Implementation, Curriculum Implementation, and Differentiation Strategies. She has presented at Arizona Association of Gifted and Talented (AAGT) and The National Association for Gifted Students (NAGT). Dina Brulles


​Dina Brulles, Ph.D., is the Director of Gifted Education at Paradise Valley Unified School District where she has developed a continuum of gifted education programs, preschool through high school.  The programs and services Dina oversees incorporate innovative uses of technology, enfranchise underrepresented populations and provide extensive professional development opportunities. She is also the Graduate Gifted Program Coordinator at Arizona State University.

Dina was elected to the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) Board of Directors in 2014 as the school district representative and is also a member of the NAGC Convention Committee. Keep reading...

ElizaBeth Warner

ElizaBeth Warner, M.Ed, NBCT is the Gifted Program Mentor for the Paradise Valley School District in Phoenix, Arizona. With over 16 years of experience teaching gifted scholars, she has extensive experience designing curriculum, differentiating instruction & mentoring teachers. Warner is an ed-tech enthusiast known for utilizing various current technology that empowers student engagement and voice. 

With a passion to provide learning experiences that promote consistent inquiry and exploration, Warner pilots district programs such as Intel Education Math Leadership team, Zearn, and Illustrative Mathematics Curriculum, Collaborating with iPads, and Implementing Coding in the classroom. She facilitates school and district staff professional development that promotes teaching gifted students in the regular classroom as well as meeting the needs of all learners. She also develops & leads district professional learning such as infusing technology across the curriculum and hosts two weekly professional learning sessions entitled Pop in PD & Gifted on the Go!
